My Work

My Work

I have the greatest work in the world;
The job of rocking a baby to sleep,
That of guiding his tottering feet,
A baby's clothes to launder and fold,
A precious life to shape and mold,
A drink to give from a little cup,
At night his toys to gather up,
Hurts to heal and fears to quell,
A baby to keep clean and well,
A stack of diapers to put,
Oh, what a happy worthwhile day!
I am a "Mother."

I have the greatest work in to world;
A husband to encourge when things go wrong,
When he comes from work to greet with a song,
Denims and shirts to wash and mend,
A helping hand, when needed, to lend,
Three times a day is meals to cook,
To strive to be my best to look,
His back to rub at the close of the day,
For his faithfulness to God I pray,
When hubby's in te field I take lemonade,
for all these tasks his love has Paid.
I am a " Wife."

I have the greatest work in the world;
Ahome to keep happy, clean and bright,
Make things go smooth and strive for the right,
Jams to cook and jellies to make,
Cookies and pies and bread to bake,
Washing, ironing, and sewing to do,
So many tasks, will I ever get though?
Lettuce to was and peas to pick,
floors to scrub, lost items to seek,
Dishes to wash and windows to shine,
These and mony more tasks are mine.
I am a "Homemaker."

Help me, Father, to faithfully work,
Forgive if I unconsciously shirk,
give me the patience and love I pray,
To keep myself in duties way;
With all the hustle that each day brings
May I not neglect the needing things;
Each day to spend time alone with Thee
That Jesus Christ be seen in me.
Thank you for husband, our home, our boys;
Thank you for love which brings me much joy.
Thank you , Lord.

I thought this was a wonderful little poem.

Why Happy to be Home

I have wanted to be a stay at home mom for as long as I can remember but something always stood in the way( or so I though). I would do the old song and dance we can't afford for me to stay home. Or when we get this bill paid or that paid. I did this for ten years. Then, I would go to work crying all the way to and from work. I would drop the boys off at the babysitters(disliking her because she was the one taking care if my boys not me)get in the car and cry. My husband wasn't happy because his day would end in Chaos and Clutter because I had no energy after working all day.

Then one day I finally listen to God. During one of my crying fits I heard a quiet voice saying why are you doing this to yourself and your family. Your heart is at home why aren't you there. But I said we can't
That quiet voice said" you Can"
But the bills
" Don't worry it will take care of it's self"
But....I said
"Your not listening "the voice quietly stated
But what if.....
"Put your trust in me"
But....
"MY will not YOURS"
But....
"Remember the prayer that you pray daily the one Dear Lord Please help me find a way
to stay home with my boys ......Do you remember that prayer"
but...........
"Trust me...trust me....Trust me.....

It took me two more weeks to Finally Come home that was almost a year ago and I will
Never regret it. I love being at home with my boys, teaching them at home,learning to keep my home. I finally I'm where I longed to be. God is faithful he has made it possible. He heard my cry. Thank you Lord for not give up on me.....To God be the Glory...

Snow

We in Ohio woke up to a beautiful white covering of snow this morning. The boys are so excited this is the first snow of the year . It didn't snow alot just enough to cover the ground, car and the horses haybale in the field. The new puppy the boys got for christmas is afraid of the snow and didn't want to go out. But after alittle bit of incourgement she went out and was funny running about and barking at it.

New year

The beginning of a new year is always fun for me. I feel reborn with new hopes and new expect ions. I Love the snow and the beautiful world it creates. I love at the new year as time to revist the year before and see what I have done right and wrong and what needs to be changed. I can tell you all alot of things need changing. My walk with god, parenting, and keeping the home are the places I really what to focus on. With that being said I am going to start a home management binder. With the help of some the other bloggers. And when I get it complete I will of course post it. I would also like to thank all the ladies that have inspired over the last few months(you may not know who you are but thank you). I will in the next few week be dropping you a line so you will know. Remember all thing are possible through Jesus our Lord
God Bless you all.
